There are also two trailheads for Desolation Wilderness right around the corner. The upstairs of this cabin has room for two bedroom areas as well as the ability to have a fold out bed in the living room. Many upgrades in this cute cabin (paint, floor, roof, water heater, light fixtures and more). Open rock fireplace. And only a short 10 mile drive into the Tahoe Basin. See direction information- USE CAUTION on the last 500 ft of the tract road. Road is damaged. Forest service cabins are subject to the terms of the special use permit.
